Allison Berg

Allison K. Berg is a philanthropist, writer, editor, and producer focused on culture and contemporary art. A longstanding advocate for the arts, children, education, and wellness, her work is informed by the desire to ensure all people have access to equity in career pathways and inclusive platforms for their narratives.

Berg holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rochester and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. A member of the California Bar, she is an active trustee and community leader with the boards of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Football Club Foundation, and The Mistake Room, as well as a member of councils including The Studio Museum in Harlem, Tate, DIA, Perez Art Museum Miami, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Artadia. 

A producer of the award-winning documentary The Art of Making It, Berg is a contributing editor  to Cultured Magazine, former executive editor at LALA Magazine and has also contributed to Design LA, Hamptons, Gotham, C Magazine, and the book Hamptons Artists: The Current Wave. She is a dedicated art collector—an extension of her commitment to supporting artists’ social and community practices.
