Allison Berg

Allison holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rochester and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. After leaving her career as a union side labor lawyer, Allison has continued working across multiple projects and environments as a philanthropist, writer, editor, and producer.

A longstanding advocate for the arts, children, education, and wellness, her work is informed by the desire to ensure all people have access to equity in career pathways and inclusive platforms for their narratives. She is an active trustee on the board of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and a member of leadership councils at Dia Art Foundation, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Pérez Art Museum Miami, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Tate, Vanderbilt University, and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa.

A producer of the award-winning documentary The Art of Making It, Berg has been a contributing editor to Cultured Magazine, former executive editor at LALA Magazine and has also contributed to Design LA, Hamptons, Gotham, C Magazine, and the book Hamptons Artists: The Current Wave.
