Larry Berg

Larry Berg is a private equity investor who earned a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his MBA from the Harvard School of Business. He has served as chairman of McGraw-Hill Education, Crisis Text Line, and 2U and as a board member of several education companies including Berlitz International, Connections Academy, Laureate Education, and Sylvan Learning Systems. Larry is a lead managing owner of the Los Angeles Football Club and a board member with the LAFC Charitable Foundation. Together, the Bergs are dedicated art collectors—an extension of their commitment to supporting artists’ social and community practices. Allison and Larry reside in Los Angeles and New York.
